Peter Welleman (born October 7, 1969) is a Dutch illustrator, primarily of magazines and books for young audiences. His favorite subject is technology, explained in a simple but colorful way, sometimes in the form of a cutaway.

In 1989 Welleman began studing Industrial Design and Engineering at the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. After graduation and working for several companies as an engineer Peter Welleman returned to his true passion: creating illustrations.
