Tom chases Jerry around until they approach the dog pound. Several dogs bark at Tom, causing him to be frightened and ran away. He looks at all dogs, especially Jerry who is sitting on a sleeping Spike. He looks at a statue that's from Pet Shoppe. He takes the face and disguises himself as a dog, sneaking all the way to the dog pound. When Tom passes the gate, he loses the dog's head and pulls it out until Spike arrives. This makes Tom frightened and hides in the dog's face, barking at him. Spike leaves and Tom pulls the face out, all the way to a brick wall. Jerry looks at Tom and barks at him, only to have Tom chase him. Tom checks every dog to see of Jerry's inside one of them, and he caughts Jerry inside a bone. Jerry runs away and Tom ends up grabbing Spike's bone. Spike growls at Tom, only to have Tom put the bone in his mouth. Tom hides under St. Bernard, who sits down on him. Tom escapes but looses his head, so he goes under St. Bernard again to get the face, making him furious. Tom shows the dog's face and walks away in a barrel. Tom and Jerry peek in the barrel until one caughts another. The chase continues and Jerry dives into a dog. He swims in it until shocked. Tom dives in, causing a loud splashing noise to wake the dog up. He scratches both Tom and Jerry out. The chase continues and Jerry ends up tripping Tom over. Spike approaches and believes there's a zombie dog. Both wander away and Spike ends up screaming like a girl. Jerry walks the other direction and Tom ends up hitting himself. He sees two ears identical and tries to grab them but ends up grabbing a real dog instead. He sees Jerry walking with a dog's head but ends up grabbing Spike. This make Spike about to bite Tom, but Tom ends up running away from him. He notices Jerry walking with the dog's face and tries to grab him but instead watches a very long dog, even with another dog face. This makes Tom believe it was false and Jerry ends up hitting himself in a wall. The chase continues until Tom notices Spike so he disguises himself again. Jerry pops his head open and Tom hides the face. The face turns left two times. Jerry lifts the face and Tom pulls it down twice more. Tom runs off to a doghouse and bangs his head with a hammer. Tom hides in the dogs face once more and Jerry displays a message: "Yes stupid, it's a cat." This make Spike let out a thunderous bull sound and starts chasing Tom. Tom digs but Spike digs up Tom. All of the dogs end up chasing Tom all the way to the pole, leaving all dogs barking at him, confused at Jerry barking at Tom.
