Editing Guidelines |
Please remember these guidelines when editing a film article:
- If a non-film article already exists with the name of the film that you are trying to create an article for, disambiguate and use (film) in the title: Film Title (film)
- When writing an article about a particular film, the general format should be a concise lead section, followed by a plot summary of no more than 900 words, production details, a cast list, a reception section, and references.
- Create an Infobox that tells all pertinent information about the film.

I know this is stating the obvious, but shouldn't we be explaining the names (probably intentional) double entendre? - Ta bu shi da yu 09:25, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
- Explain the actual double entendre or where the name orginated? It's just Fleming's school-boy humor. Pretty sure this girl is actually named after his Octopus. K1Bond007 17:28, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
You really don't know?
Pussy Galore (Goldfinger) "Pussy" has several meanings. One is "cat." (This is definitely not the meaning here!) The other two are: 1. sex 2. vagina. "Galore", of course, is a non-slang word meaning a lot of something...
Octopussy (Octopussy) See above...
Plenty O'Toole (Diamonds are Forever) "Tool" is slang for penis. In the movie, Bond asks her if she was named after her father.
Dr. Holly Goodhead (Moonraker) "To give head" is to perform oral sex. [1]
This one would seem the most brazen, though. -Toptomcat 16:21, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
