Push It Along is a song by A Tribe Called Quest's first album People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm.

This song is the group's introduction. It starts with an odd twinkling sound. Then there is a baby crying. Then the main beat starts and soon Q-Tip starts to rap. He says they are not like other groups and talks about how they don't spend time boasting about things they have and that they have much rhythm. Then the chorus comes in. Then after that Phife makes his introduction. Then Q-Tip joins him. Then the chorus comes in again. Soon after that then many horns come in. Then Q-Tip delivers one last rhyme. After that the horns come in again. Then the beat switches up and Jarobi gives the names of the people in the group. Then tells a story of the group waling around and says that he finds a huge boulder and that he had to "push it along". Then he gives the introduction to the next song.
