The Purple-edged Copper is a butterfly of the family Lycaenidae.
- Length of male : from 16 to 17 mm.
- Period of flight : June-July, one generation, range around 1500 m.
- Plants favoured : Rumex sp. and Polygonum bistorta.
- Home : Western Europe around the region of the river Amour.
