Purified in Blood

Purified in Blood was a vegan straight edge metalcore band from Norway. Their music is influenced by acts such as Earth Crisis, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Kreator and Immortal. Their songs are characterized by being short, fast bursts of melodic metal, featuring ample breakdowns, two vocalists and a lyrical focus on veganism, straight edge, anti-capitalism and apocalyptic visions. In January 2007, the band posted a bulletin on their MySpace to announce the splitting up of the band. The bulletin stated:

We want to thank each and everyone of you who supported us and helped us along the way.
