[edit] Plot

A group of parapsychologists led by Carolyn Bramwell move into the hotel at Bodega Bay to investigate the reports of the living puppets. The puppets soon emerge and begin killing the members of the group. The elderly Enrique Chenee, who claims to be the owner of the hotel, turns up, his face hidden behind bandages and dark glasses. But Chenee is really the puppet master Andre Toulon, whose body has been exhumed and revived by the puppets in order to help them procure the brain fluid that keeps them alive. Toulon believes Carolyn to be the reincarnation of his late wife Elsa and prepares to conduct a ceremony that will transfer their souls into life-size mannequins so that they can be together again.

[edit] Trivia

  • Originally this movie was entitled: Puppet Master II: His Unholy Creations.
  • The puppet Torch makes his first appearance in this movie. Unlike the other puppets that were once real humans, Torch seems to be a new creation.
  • Toulon's appearance with the bandages and glasses is a homage to The Invisible Man.
  • This film as well as sequels three through five were only available on DVD through a Full Moon Features box set that is now discontinued but still available at their website as well as from them at Amazon.com. It included all the first seven chapters of the franchise and a bonus disc with 45 movie trailers. Other than the first three films which have been released seperately as a Spanish region free DVD, the films have not been released individually themselves yet.
