Punk Cabaret is a form of Cabaret music. It is usually more rock-style, with faster tempos and instruments common to hard-core rock bands. This is an emerging style, putting a new-age twist on an older musical fashion. Many new bands and indie bands are utilizing its possibilities. Punk rock and edgy; pop pieces combine to create this collaborative style. One of the more recognizable bands to use this genre are The Dresden Dolls.
