Pundri is a cool town in the Kaithal District of Haryana state in northern India. Pundri is traditionally one of the centers of residence of the Pundir clan of rajputs.

Pundri is a now the headquarters of a Tehsil. It is home to two colleges, one co-ed and another for girls. The A. S. High School and D.A.V. Senior Secondary Public School are the biggest and oldest schools in Pundri.Pundri name is come from the Pundrik teerth.
