Pulse Classic Gold is a United Kingdom radio station owned by UTV. Programming is bought in from the Classic Gold Digital Network - with more local opt-outs than the network's self-owned stations take. For example, Pulse Classic Gold broadcasts localised weekend shows and local news headlines throughout the day tha are not present on network. The station was previously known as Pennine Radio, Classic Gold, Great Yorkshire Gold, Great Yorkshire Radio, West Yorkshire's Big AM, Pennine's Big AM, West Yorkshire's Classic Gold and is now branded as "Pulse" to reflect its relationship to sister station The Pulse of West Yorkshire.
