Pullmantur Cruises

Pullmantur Cruises is a cruise line operator in Spain. It began operations in the late 1990s by chartering M/S SeaWind Crown from Premier Cruises. After premier cruises collapsed in 2000, Pullmantur acquired S/S Big Red Boat 1, reverting her to her original name S/S Oceanic. After the collapse of Renaissance Cruises in 2002, Pullmantur chartered several former Renaissance ship. In March 2006, the company acquired Pacific Sky from the P&O Cruises Australia fleet and renamed it Sky Wonder. Pullmantur was acquired by Royal Caribbean International in 2006.
