"Pull Up to the Bumper" reached number reached number #2 on the US Dance Charts, and it was later released as a single with La Vie en Rose as a B-side in 1985, where it reached number #12 on the UK charts. The song was also recorded for her One Man Show in 1983, and produced two videos; one live version and a studio version with images included from Koyaanisqatsi.
The song was written by Ron Dunbar, Grace Jones, Dana Mano and Robbie Shakespeare.

The song sparked some controversy, as it's literally about anal sex. The lyrics contains racy images of this topic: "Pull up to my bumper baby, in your long black limosine. Pull up to my bumper baby, drive it in between."

Danish artist Funkstar De Luxe remixed the song with Grace's original vocals, and released it as a single in 2000. The song reached number #4 on the US Dance Charts.
