Puley the Pule Duck is a mythical, supposedly humanoid duck, and the holiday icon which represents the holiday of Pule (Comparable with Santa Claus, The Great Pumpkin, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy), both of which having been invented by Hugh Neutron in the episode Holly Jolly Jimmy of the series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius. According to Hugh Neutron, Puley the Pule Duck goes out on Pule Eve (the night before Pule), and distributes pies to everyone, giving apple pie and cherry pie to good children, and mince pie to the bad children (comparable with Santa Claus giving presents to good kids and coal to bad kids).

[edit] Origin

Hugh Neutron invented the holiday of Pule when Jimmy accidentially scrambled Santa's atoms, causing Christmas to be cancelled. Along with Pule, Hugh invented Puley, whose name is an obvious derivative of the word Pule, which is a portmanteau of pie and yule. Puley is similar to Santa Claus, the only differences being that he enters houses through the window, and leaves pie rather than gifts.

[edit] Hugh Neutron and Puley

On Pule Eve, Hugh Neutron dresses up as Puley, the very holiday icon he invented, and attempts to bring pie to the citizens of Retroville. Unfortunately, the occupants of the houses Puley enters misintepret him as a burglar, and beat him up.
