Puerto Padre

Puerto Padre is a city in Las Tunas province, Cuba, located at 21°12′N 76°37′W. Known popularly as the City of Mills, Puerto Padre has a history dating back into the 16th century. In the mid 1800s, the city began its transformation from a small town into an industrial centre with the construction of its first sugarcane mill. The city played a large role in Cuba's wars of independence, and today is somewhat of a tourist centre. It has many areas for younger people such as the malecon, while it also provides relaxing biking cars for the older people.
