Pueblo Chieftain

The Pueblo Chieftain is an American daily newspaper published in Pueblo, Colorado. 2006 marks its 138th year publishing.

The Chieftain was established in 1868 by Dr. Michael Beshoar, the first doctor in Trinidad, Colorado. Wilbur Fisk Stone George A. Hinsdale were the first two editors.

Published by the Star-Journal Publishing Corp., the Chieftain reported 2005 circulation of 53,250. The current Chieftain Publisher is Robert H. Rawlings.
