Psychoheresy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Psychoheresy is a term created by Martin and D. Bobgan with their book "Psychoheresy" and subsequent ones. It denotes the growing belief within some Christian circles that psychology is heretical. Antipsychology is another term synonymous with psychoheresy, but describes the overall resistance movement. See Antipsychology. Some of the mainline well established Protestant seminaries such as one belonging to the Southern Baptist Convention have now removed Psychology from their curriculum. A DVD explaining this whole movement is "Psychology and the Church" by Berean Call. It has been circulated on various public access TV stations nationwide.
