Psi5 Aurigae (ψ⁵ Aur / ψ⁵ Aurigae) is a binary star in the constellation Auriga. It is approximately 53.9 light-years from Earth.
The primary component, ψ⁵ Aurigae A, is a yellow G-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +5.24. It has an optical companion, ψ⁵ Aurigae B, which is 36 arcseconds away and has an apparent magnitude of +8.4.
The primary star, which is similar to the sun, is being examined for evidence of extrasolar planets, but none have been found so far.
