Pseudotrillium

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pseudotrillium is a member of the Trilliaceae family. It is a monotypic genus -- only one species is known. Pseudotrillium rivale occurs in the Siskiyou Mountains of Oregon and California, often on soils of ultramafic origin. This spring-flowering herb grows 4-15 cm tall; its single flower has purple spots on its three petals, which are otherwise white.
