Pseudomonas savastanoi (Janse 1982) Gardan, et al. 1992 |
Pseudomonas savastanoi (synonym Pseudomonas syringae ssp. savastanoi) is a plant pathogenic bacterium, now widely considered to be a sub-species of Pseudomonas syringae rather than a species itself. Pseudomonas syringae ssp. savastanoi has three host-specific pathovars: fraxini which causes ash canker, nerii which attacks oleander and oleae which causes olive knot.[1]. The type strain is ATCC 13522.
