Prussian Holocaust
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The term Prussian Holocaust is a highly controversial term occasionally used for the actions of Soviet troops in East Prussia towards the end of the Second World War, during the Soviet occupation and the ensuing evacuation of its German population. The term "Prussian Holocaust" is relatively obscure and never used among mainstream historians, because its usage is often viewed as an attempt to create a moral equivalence between The Nazi Holocaust of the Jews and other historical events through use of the same word.
