Prunières

Prunières is a small town in the "Hautes Alpes" département in France. It is close to Chorges where one must go to purchase stuff. For bigger towns, one must go west to Gap (25 km) or east to Embrun (15 km). Prunières is located close to the lake of Serre-Ponçon, the largest artificial lake in Europe, and surrounded by gorgeous mountains. The main activity in the winter is skiing, while one can enjoy mountain climbing/hiking and water activities on the lake of Serre-Ponçon.
