User talk:Project for Pride in Living/New article

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are two issues with this draft article at the moment:

  • 1. Most importantly, it does not make clear how the organization is notable. The notability guideline for organizations can be found at WP:ORG.
  • 2. There is too much boardspeak advert in the article. One example: "This expresses commitment to the values of a strong work ethic, personal accountability and responsibility, and the participation of the disenfranchised in their own growth toward self-sufficiency. PPL recognizes and responds to the multiple challenges faced by constituents as they strive for self-sufficiency."

I hope this helps. AecisBrievenbus 22:04, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

What would be most helpful, especially in removing what Aecis referred to as boardspeak advert, would be adding reliable, third-party references. You can find information on how to do this at Wikipedia:Reliable sources and Wikipedia:Citing sources. Or, if some of them are websites, feel free to just add them as external links in the form [http://domain-name.com/file.htm]; then just let me know and I can format them as inline citations for you.
