No, that's cool! I must have been having a blond moment - I saw "24 April" where it clearly says "4 April", and saw that the last contribution was decidedly nasty to Tawker, so blocked the user. I never mind having my stuff undone by others - I'm certainly not one to shout "wheel war!" at the first sign of changes, quite the reverse as this is a Wiki after all! Thanks for letting me know your reasoning - it was very nice of you. ➨ REDVERS 10:14, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof!

Cool tool. Thanks.Dlohcierekim 14:03, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Block myself

Oh my God! Still learning to use vandalproof. I did it Twice! LOL. I think I got the right one in there at last. Dlohcierekim 18:34, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

I saw that. It IS a great tool. I just hafta be smarter than it is.Dlohcierekim 18:47, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Still a bit confused

And nonsense articles and vanity articles, how do you deal with that? And I never learned how to revert. Can you idiotproof the process for me? Chercher E. 19:35, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I owe you one! Funny thing being I once was a vanity vandal. But, yeah. Thanks! Chercher E. 19:03, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Nope, now I get most of it. The tags, that's what I needed info on. Yeah, my dad wanted me to article his dad's company. That's in fact why I changed names then.

Oh! Can you help me and another guy on the article "squip"? See the talk page for our problem. Chercher E. 19:07, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Category link

Thanks for the help. I knew there had to be a way to do it, but I had never linked to a category before in all my editing so I had no idea.  :p --TheKoG (talk|contribs) 20:21, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Images

Thanks. I've done quite a bit of editing, but have never tried to add a photo to an article. Can you help me do that?Founders4 22:23, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Successfully added imbedded image to "Stelle, Illinois" article. Thanks! The image I uploaded was Arial1.jpg, which appears on the Stelle Community Web page. I know it is not copyrighted, and I know who put the image on that Web page, so there is no problem. Is that all I need to do to make sure the imbedded image is retained? Founders4 22:43, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks again. I understand the tag you provided, however when I went to the Image:Arial1.jpg page I couldn't find an opportunity for tagging. Where do I do it? Founders4 23:05, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

O.K. Done. Hope I did it correctly. Please let me know.Founders4 23:13, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I understand. Bye for now. Founders4 23:29, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof

Oh, I'll keep note. BTW, can you access the user list? Fetofs Hello! 23:32, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

I ment to ask if you could approve User:Taxman normally right now. Fetofs Hello! 23:35, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Sure I'd like you to, but the main reason is that I can't. I only get the "Awaiting approval" section, and that caused the wrong edit. Fetofs Hello! 23:40, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Hey there, just looking at some of this users recent edits and he/she seems very confrontational - comments like (oh, you're so clever.) (rv incredibly stupid edits.) (AHAHAHAHAHAHAno)... and it continues. Although they aren't using VP I'm concerned they might get a little power crazy. What are your thoughts? - Glen TC (Stollery) 20:33, 28 April 2006 (UTC) PS: Just noticed only 140 mainspace edits also?

Sex Pistols 'vandal'

Hey, thanks for the standard warning - it was because I used pop-ups to revert the vandalism after the Tawkerbot had already done it. The pop-ups revert then reverted back to the vandalised article. I didn't spot it. Apologies. Budgiekiller 15:04, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

Regarding User:195.93.21.36

Thanks for warning him on my behalf. But he already recieved a {{test4}} warning by Sango123, isn't it time to block him? Or is it because of the AOL problem?

Thanks

Doubt it will come to the point where you will have to protect my userpage, but anyway thanks for looking out for me. Anyway I been meaning to ask an admin for sometime now. Is there a guideline somewhere for admins to close AFD's? I'm considering to soon run for admin & just wanted to familiarise myself with the guidelines. I've tried Deletion guidelines for administrators & Deletion Policy but didn't get any specific info on the aforementioned process. Could you please help me out?
Thanks

Vandal Proof

I have less than 250 article edits, but this page says: For security and statistical reasons, all users must request permission to use VandalProof before they may use the application. New users with fewer than 250 edits and users who have recently been involved in edit wars or have a recent history of vandalism will likely not be accepted. It doesn't say anywhere about article edits. It only says "250 edits", not article namespace edits. --GeorgeMoneyTalk  Contribs 23:22, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

She wants admin ship so he can lock pages like the Maryland one and block users who know she is breaking Wiki rules, like me....you may want to warn her. WillC 02:54, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

I hope you did not think I was saying I broke rules! I KNOW SHE IS BREAKING NPOV RULES! WillC 19:37, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
I assume good faith but I don't think she understands how Wikipedia works yet. That's why I asked an admin to explain to her NPOV and sourcing. WillC 19:45, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

72.1.206.178 unblocked?

Why? A massive history of blatant vandalism doesn't get a block? — ceejayoz talk 18:48, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

May the Force be with you.

Dear Prodego,

Thanks for voting on my RFA! I appreciate your faith in me, and was overwhelmed by the positive response to my RFA; for it shows that at least I'm doing something right. :) I've started working to improve myself already, and I hope that next time, things run better, and maybe, just maybe, one day we can bask on the shores of Admintopia together. Thanks and cheers, _-M o P-_ 21:53, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
