Talk:Protestfestival
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Statement from Kris Kristofferson about the Protestfestival: "WE SHOULD PRAY in the names of Mohatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., John and Robert Kennedy, Malcolm X, Anwar Sadat and Yitzhak Rabin, that we may have the vision and the courage to rise above the growing cycle of violence that threatens to consume us. Terrorism, by guerillas or governments, can never be justified--ethically or pragmatically. We will either have unconditional global commitment to peace or the chaos of endless retaliation"
God Bless you in Norway for having the Protestfestival; keep up the good work

[edit] Notability
It looks better, but please review the notability guidelines and add references to reliable sources independent of the festival. Basically, you want to demonstrate this festival has received some press coverage - sources in Norweigian are fine. - Aagtbdfoua 19:04, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
- I see your point of giving a notability whip; it is too easy to start on something and then forget about the 'normal' world's demands of hurrying on towards whatever it is. (In my world I sometimes hope to tickle curiosity and that someone will see the possibilities and come to aid.) --Profero 20:32, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
- The new reference helps. Can you put this article in a category. I can't figure out which is most appropriate, as I don't see an 'anti-indifference movement' category. It's also a sign that the aims of the festival could be clarified. Probably anti-globalization? - Aagtbdfoua 22:37, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
