Talk:Projects working for peace among Israelis and Arabs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I don't have any background with this page, but it looks to me like the idea is to describe primarily non-governmental efforts to build peace among peoples, seeing as how we Israeli-Palestinian conflict already describes various proposed plans for a political solution, and we have List of peace proposals. As such, binationalism (which I happen to favor), and United Holyland, should be there and not here. Radicalsubversiv 19:13, 23 Apr 2004 (UTC)
[edit] American Jewish Comittee
This section needs its own page, the AJC's very worthwhile efforts on behalf of Arab-Americans and others have little or nothing to do with Israeli-Arab peace. ZacharyS 03:47, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Beauty Pageant
The Daily Show had a feature on a beauty pageant that promoted peace between the two factions ("Extending an olive branch... IN MY PANTS!!") as recently as the second half of this year (post-set change). Does anyone know what it is? --69.140.24.166 05:21, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
