Provident Financial plc is a financial services group based in Bradford, England. It specialises in home credit, but also has operations in the insurance and credit card markets.

With the decline in the home lending market in the UK, Provident branched out into the Central European market, with significant operations in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.

In the UK, Provident trades under a number of different brands, including Provident Personal Credit and Greenwood Personal Credit for its home credit operations, Yes for its motor insurance operation and Vanquis Bank for its credit card operation. The home lending operations are based in the head office building in Sunbridge Road, Bradford. Yes is based in Peterborough and Vanquis Bank is based in purpose built premises located in Chatham, Kent.
