Protestant Lutheran Church of Hanover

The Protestant Lutheran Church of Hanover or Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover is a Protestant church in the German state of Lower Saxony. The seat of the bishop is the state capital Hanover.

It is a full member of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), and is based on the teachings brought forward by Martin Luther during the Reformation. The leading bishop of the church is Margot Käßmann (2006).
