From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Protestant Church of Algeria is a small religious body formed in 1972 by the union of several smaller Protestant denominations in Algeria. The church has about 1,500 members, mainly in the northern coastal region of the country. It is considered to be one of the Reformed churches, and is affiliated with the World Reformed Communion, being a member of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches. The Church's website names the Reformed Church of France as a "partner", and the United Methodist Church as a "further partner". The Protestant Church of Algeria is also a member of the Middle East Council of Churches.
