Prostitution in Nepal
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nepal is currently the largest "sending country" for human trafficking in India. It is estimated that nearly half of all Mumbai's sex workers working in brothels are imported from Nepal. It is estimated that more than 150,000 innocent rural women and girl children are trafficked to Indian brothels and cities alone for commercial sex.
