Prosody may refer to:
- Prosody (linguistics) includes intonation and vocal stress in speech.
- Meter (poetry) includes the scansion and metrical shape of the lines.
- Prosody (music) refers to the way the composer sets the text of a vocal composition in the assignment of syllables to notes in the melody to which the text is sung; this is particularly a function of rhythm and pitch, and is not to be confused with musical form.
