[edit] History

The Posse started off as a group of multiple members known as the Backyard Posse until founder Nicky Scarfo met DJ Paul & Juicy J. Together they founded Prophet Entertainment. The label had many acts like Three 6 Mafia, Prophet Posse, and the Killa Klan Kaze (later known as The Kaze or Kami Kaze Inc.). The label was very successful until Nicky Scarfo had a disagreement with Three 6 Mafia and sued over the label. So DJ Paul & Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia went on to form Hypnotize Mindz.

With a good foundation, you can continue to do great things. That is what Nick “Scarfo” Jackson has learned. With the creation of Prophet Entertainment (the origin label of Three 6 Mafia) years ago, Nick Scarfo is back at it again. Although he never officially left the game he has revamped the Prophet Entertainment Camp with some old and new. "It's official, Crunchy Blac and Gangsta Boo are with Prophet Camp and the new Prophet Posse Camp mixtapes and albums are coming soon to put Memphis back where it belongs," stated Nicky Scarfo in a recent talk with MemphisRap.com.

With the first album on Prophet Entertainment being Kingpin Skinny Pimp back in the day, everyone knows what this camp can bring to the rap game. This will be classic Memphis rap music in the making.

Nick Scarfo also told Memphisrap.com of all the artists, new and old, who are now apart of the new Prophet Entertainment Camp. Some of the old artists like Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, along with the All Star, new female artist Hot Sauce on the list, the new albums are going to hit the music world with nothing but hard music that will be like old and new at the same time. Some other artists in the camp are T-Lo, Willie Diamante, Indo G, K Roc, Playa Po, and Young Remy. Prophet Entertainment also provides a promotion company based out of Memphis. With another movement ManUp Records' CEO Lil’ Twin, the nephew of Jackson, is following the lead with great production and a new look.

All great things come to an end unfortunately Jackson had to end his relationship with Three 6 Mafia but found it to be better for him and some other former Three 6 Mafia Camp members. With hard work and a great line up, Prophet Entertainment is looking to continue to place a great mark for the Memphis and Southern Music world."

Nick Jackson aka Nicki Scarfo from Phatidef Music / Prophet Entertainment is working on a double\ disc compilation featuring many of the old Prophet Entertainment members, including: Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Gangsta Blac, Indo G, Gangsta Boo, Koopsta Knicca, MC Mack, Scanman, K-Rock, T-Rock & Lil E. Plus the album includes 2 features from Hypnotize Minds, Crunchy Black & Lord Infamous.

Some other features include Yo Gotti, Blackout, Pastor Troy, Lil Flip, 6 Shot & they are supposedly working on getting Juvenile & Trick Daddy. There is also word from MC Mack & Nicki Scarfo that T-Rock has signed to Phatidef / Prophet Entertainment."

MemphisRap.com has been told Prophet Entertainment (the origin label of Three 6 Mafia) has brung on some major new players to their growing entourage of self-made Industry entrepreneurs. Newly inked in deals or in talks with the growing company are 'Underground King of Memphis' Playa Fly, artist and Inevitable Records label boss Yo Gotti, new boss player Mac Goo, Pastor Troy and Lil' Flip, along with former Three 6 Mafia members Crunchy Black, Koopsta Knicca, Gangsta Boo, Indo G, T-Rock and the list goes on and on. "It's official, Crunchy Blac and Gangsta Boo are with Prophet Camp and the new Prophet Posse Camp mixtapes and albums are coming soon to put Memphis back where it belongs," stated Nicky Scarfo, founder of Prophet Entertainment, in a recent talk with MemphisRap.com.
