Pronto Pup
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pronto Pup is similar to a corn dog (also sold at the fair) sold at the Minnesota State Fair and at other fairs throughout the country. Pronto Pup concession stands have been a familiar sight at fairs since the 1950s.
The pronto pup is different from a regular corn dog because the batter contains wheat and the dogs are hand-dipped and fried on location. The company claims to have invented the corn dog in 1941.
