Prom Queen (internet series)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Prom Queen is the first internet video series produced by former Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner's new production company Vuguru. The series, consisting of 80 episodes of 90 seconds each, is one of the best-funded entrants into the world of original programming designed exclusively for online video.[1]

The show will generate revenue through sponsorships and selling some of the clothing worn by the characters.[2]

The series will premiere on MySpace (starting on the evening of April 1, 2007) and according to the Financial Times, marks MySpace's boldest push into original video content. The series will also be distributed on YouTube, Veoh and an original Prom Queen Web site.[3]
