A Projectionist is a person whose profession entails the operating of a movie projector. As with many jobs as technology has progressed the level of training required to be a projectionist has lowered. Currently a motion picture projectionist is one of the lowest paying professions in the United States, ranking in the bottom 50 paying professions according to the 2004 U.S. Census.[1]
