"Project Walk® is internationally recognized as a pioneer in exercise-based recovery for people with spinal cord injuries; providing hope, improved quality of life and a chance for life beyond a wheelchair."

Project Walk was featured on Extreme Make Over Home Edition on December 10, 2006. One scene displayed a man who was/is? a quadriplegic working out on a treadmill like device while moving his arms and balancing himself a flattened exercise ball with a medical device being used to strengthen his legs.
