[edit] Story
Robots from a currently unknown source are attacking American cities for a currently unknown reason. The game's protagonist is a hammer-wielding cyborg prototype of "Project H.A.M.M.E.R." known only as M-09.
"Players control one of Project H.A.M.M.E.R.'s cyborg prototypes: half-man, half-machine, with an extraordinary weapon - and the power to save the world. Equipped with a hammer of amazing strength, players represent the only hope against an unstoppable army of marauding automatons."
Upon close inspection of the E3 2006 gameplay videos, a woman by the name of Natasha is visible contacting M-09.
