Project 1950 is an album from the 'new incarnation' of the horror punk band The Misfits, released in 2003. It consists completely of covers of old rock songs, mostly from the 50s and 60s. Some of the covers include "Monster Mash" and "Great Balls of Fire". This album marks existing bassist Jerry Only's debut as The Misfits' lead singer. Except for Only, no members of the band from their previous album returned for Project 1950.
