Prohibitionists in Manitoba (provincial candidates)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the 1903 provincial election in Manitoba, Canada, four candidates ran as Prohibitionists: H.L. Montgomery, W.R. Mulock, Reuben Cross and J.F. Hunter. None were successful, although Montgomery came within twenty votes of winning in Deloraine.

They do not appear to have been an organized party. Although other parties supported prohibition, no provincial candidates ran as "prohibitionists" after 1903.
