Professional Lighting & Production (PL&P, PL) Magazine – first issue published in 1997, January/February issue. Published quarterly. Published by Norris-Whitney Communications based in St. Catharines, Ontario. Many of the world’s most prominent lighting engineers, theatre productions, as well as bands and artists on tour have graced the cover of Professional Lighting & Production.

The primary focus of PL&P is to provide those working in the industry with in-depth information on products, suppliers, personnel, technological developments - information they can use to enhance their business and technical skills. It also keeps readers informed on industry events, important innovations and trends. PL&P's subscriber base consists of DJs, night club owners, lighting engineers, lighting designers, production managers, night club owners, pro lighting enthusiasts and others.

2007 marks a 10-year anniversary for PL&P.

Norris-Whitney Communications also publishes the following three magazines: Canadian Musician, Canadian Music Trade and Professional Sound, and Music Directory Canada.

Other divisions of Norris-Whitney Communications are Music Books Plus and Music & Home Entertainment Show.
