In the 1981, the Professional Compounding Centers of America was incorporated to provide compounded medications to patients, when the medicine became unavailable commercially. PCCA provides education and pharmeceutical consultation on this subject. The organization's philosophy revolves around a triad of "one patieant, one physician, one pharmacist."
