Prodea Systems is a consumer technology company headquartered in Plano, Texas, United States. The company has announced its first product will be a consumer-oriented home network for digital entertainment.
Under development since 2004, Prodea Systems was founded in 2006 by long-time entrepreneurs Anousheh Ansari, Hamid Ansari, and Amir Ansari. The company is sponsoring Chairwoman Anousheh Ansari as a space tourist aboard a Soyuz rocket visit to the International Space Station[1].
Prodea Systems also has locations in Chennai, India, and Beijing, China.
