What PLU codes should be included in the list on this page? There are over 13000 of them, so clearly the list cannot be comprehensive. Perhaps groups containing only common citris, apples, et cetera? ~CS 22:39, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Not just for groceries…

PLUs can be used to look up pretty much any salable item, not just groceries. They tend to be a retailer-internal equivalent to UPCs. The electronics store I work at uses 7-digit PLUs. —Nahum Reduta 10:34, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
