Prix Jacques le Marois

The Prix Jacques le Marois is a Group 1 flat horse race in France for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds run over a distance of 1,600 metres (approximately 1 mile) at Deauville Racecourse in August.
It was first run in 1921 and was named in memory of Jacques le Marois, a leading French racehorse owner who died the previous year. The race was restricted to three-year-olds only until 1952.
Jockey Freddy Head hold the record for the most wins in the Prix Jacques le Marois with six.
