Prisoner was an album by Cher, released in 1979 and one of two records Cher recorded for Casablanca Records (the other being Take Me Home). This was Cher's second album of 1979, 'Take Me Home' was released earlier that year. This album, unlike 'Take Me Home' was least successful than the latter, but still sold over 1 million copies in the U.S.A. alone. This album, is part of Cher's shortlived Disco era, as nearly every song on the album is Disco oriented.
