Principality is a Welsh building society based in Cardiff, Wales. With assets of just over £4bn it is Wales' largest building society and the 12th largest in the UK.
It was founded in 1860 in Cardiff by William Sanders[1].
It presently has 51 branches across Wales and the Borders, and employs around 1000 people. In 2005 it expanded into personal loans with the creation of a new company called Nemo Personal Loans.
