Principal for a Day is the 25th episode of the ABC- Disney Television Show Recess.

[edit] Synopsis

As an unusual form of punishment, Principal Prickley decides to make T.J. Detweiler headteacher of the school for one day, possibly as a means of showing him what trouble he causes for the staff. T.J. revels in the prospect of doing exactly what he wants with the school, and initially implements such impractical rules as an all-day recess period, but as the day progresses, Prickley gradually tries to brainwash T.J. into his way of thinking. The normally scruffy boy is seen wearing a suit, and revokes the all-day recess in favour of more study. However, as his rule draws to a close, T.J. realises how close he is to becoming the very thing he hates most, and resolves to make amends with a joyful party outside the school.
