Princess Sophie of Romania

Princess Sophie of Romania was born in 1957 in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is the fourth daughter of King Michael I of Romania and Queen Anne. Sophie is eighth in the line of succession to the headship of the Romanian Royal Family, and about 89th in the line of succession to the British Throne.
In 1998 she married Alain Biarneix de Laufenborg (born 1957). They have one daughter, Elisabeta-Maria Biarneix de Laufenborg (b.1999).
