Princess Dagmar of Denmark (Dagmar Louise Elisabeth) 23 May 1890 - 11 October 1961) was the youngest child and fourth daughter of Frederick VIII of Denmark and his wife, Princess Louise of Sweden and Norway. She was named for her aunt, the Empress Maria Fydorovna, who was born Princess Dagmar of Denmark

She married Jørgen Castenskiold on November 23, 1922. They had four children:

  • Carl Frederik Anton Jørgen Castenskiold (13 November 1923-14 April 2006) He married three times. His first marriage, to Bente Grevenkop, produced three children. They divorced in 1963. He later married Else Albrechtsen (in 1961, divorced 1969), and Maja Fabricius (in 1971).
  • Christian Ludwig Gustav Fritz Castenskiold (b. 10 July 1926) He married Cecily Abbots, with whom he had a daughter, Alexandra (b. 1965).
  • Jørgen Frederik Aage Erik Helge Castenskiold (16 March 1928-4 May 1964) He married first to Kirsten Schlichtkrull, with whom he had a daughter, Susanne. They divorced in 1958, and he married Birgit Tingstedt, with whom he had another daughter, Marie-Louise.
  • Dagmar Castenskiold (b. 11 September) She married first, in 1950, to Poul Bitsch with whom she had three children, and remarried upon his death to Ole Friis Larsen in 1972.
