Prince Pedro de Alcantara of Orléans-Braganza

Pedro de Alcantara Luís Filipe Maria Gastão Miguel Gabriel Rafael Gonzaga of Orléans-Braganza, Prince of Grao Para (15 October 1875 - 29 January 1940) was the first born son of Isabel, Princess Imperial of Brazil and her husband Gaston, comte d'Eu. In 1908 Pedro wanted to marry Countess Elisabeth Dobrzensky (1875-1951) a noblewoman whom his mother Isabel regarded as not royal, and as result he renounced his rights to the throne of Brazil on the 30th October 1908. Pedro and Elisabeth married on the 14th November 1908 in Versailles, France, and had 5 children:
- Princess Isabelle of Orléans-Braganza (1911-2003)
- Prince Pedro Gastão of Orléans-Braganza (b. 1913)
- Princess Maria Francisca of Orléans-Braganza (1914-1968) Married Duarte Nuno, Duke of Braganza.
- Prince Joao Maria of Orléans-Braganza (1916-2005)
- Princess Teresa of Orléans-Braganza (b. 1919)
