Prince Olav Mountains

The Prince Olav Mountains ( 84°57′S, 173°00′W) is a mountain range of the Queen Maud Mountains stretching from Shackleton Glacier to Liv Glacier at the head of the Ross Ice Shelf.

Discovered in 1911 by Roald Amundsen on the way to the South Pole, and named by him for the then Crown Prince Olav of Norway.
